Ingredients

Grated peel of Sunkist orange
1 peach, nectarine, banana or kiwi, peeled
1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
2 Sunkist oranges, cut into 4 star-shaped shells*

Directions:

In bowl, combine orange peel, peach and ice cream; return to freezer. Scoop frozen ice cream into orange shells.

* To make 2 star-shaped orange shells, cut each orange as follows:
Insert tip of paring knife, diagonally, halfway between stem and blossom end. Cut around orange (inserting in and pulling out) in a zigzag pattern. Make sure to cut through to center of orange. Give a slight twist to pull apart halves. Carefully squeeze out juice; drink or reserve for cooking. Scrape shells and clean with spoon.

Variation: Substitute orange sherbet for orange peel, mushed peach and vanilla ice cream.
